Schedule

DAY 1

• 10:30am – 11:00am: Make your way to the pre-arranged pick-up spots. We recommend you arrive at least 10 minutes early. Pick-up spot is in front of Flower Market in center of the city.
• 11.30-12.00: Arriving in Kartal Winery. Find out where and how wine is born through a wine tour at the winery Kartal done by the hosts themselves.
• 12.30- 14.00: Start of wine tasting selection of 6 different Kartal wines. With passion and pleasure, they will help you discover the secrets of modern winery in a family atmosphere. A complete pleasure waits in the tasting room, furnished in a cozy and traditional ambient, where you can taste the Kartal wines in perfect combination with appropriate food and music.
• 14.30: Arriving in Brzanov Winery
• 14.30- 15.00: Presentation and explanation of the concept of the winery with amazing host and winemaker himself.
• 15.00-17.30: Tasting of 7 wine labels from the portfolio of Brzanov Winery, with 3 course lunch – traditional regional food.
• 17.30-19.30: Traveling to one of the best wine regions in north Macedonia – Tikves wine region in city of Kavadarci.
• 19.30-20.00: Accomodation in Hotel in Kavadarci
• 20.00- Free time to explore the city of Kavadarci

DAY 2

• 10.00- 11.30: Visiting the archeological city of Stobi – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stobi – one of the most popular historical monumental cities in North Macedonia. Connected with wine history and tradition of making wine in that region
• 11.30-12.30: Arriving at Naumcevi Winery. Nice, cozy and traditional winery located in the city of Kavadarci. You will be guide by the winemaker and owner in the winery trough his cellar with very interesting story about the tradition of making wine in their region
• 12:30am – 13.30: Tasting of 5 wines from portfolio of Naumcevi Winery, combine with local food – tasty cheese and traditional dishes.
• 14.00-15.00 – Before visit of the second winery Dane Hermes Winery we will have spot in their vineyards. Amazing view one of the best locations and where the best Macedonian wines are coming from.
• 15.30 – 16.00: Arriving at Dane Hermes Winery, and visit of the small but state of art winery located in small beautiful village Pepeliste.
• 16.00- 18.30: Tasting of magnificent wines made from own vineyards with total control of production from the land to the bottle. Included with 3 course meal late lunch with traditional food.
• 18.45-20.00: Traveling to south part of the Vardar River wine region in city of Gevgelija
• 20.00- Accommodation in the hotel in Gevgelija, and free time to explore the city of Gevgelija

DAY 3

• 10.00-10.30: After the breakfast – check out from hotel in Gevgelija
• 11.00 – Arriving in Jostela Winery
• 11.00-11.30 – Visit and feel the story behind this amazing small winery located in spiritual place in the beautiful nature in hills of Gevgelija.
• 11.30-13.30 – Inspiring Flavors – Tasting of 5 different white, rose and red wines with local cheeses and charcuterie platter, water and 2 different traditional brandy.
• 13.30-15.30 – Traditional launch with 3 course dishes.
• 16.00 – 18.30: Traveling to city of Ohrid
• 19.00-19.30: Accommodation in St. Kliment Winery HotelFree time to enjoy the Ohrid city.

DAY 4

• 10.00 – 12.00: Visiting the St. Kliment Winery. Tour through this small boutique winery with excellent wine tasting of 5 wines made from their vineyards in Ohrid wine region.

• 12.00-12.03: Arrival and preparation for Wine & sailing – Ohrid Lake private tour
• 12.30-14.30: Spend 2 hours in a unique sailing experience through the waters of lake Ohrid for a one-of-a-kind view of the region. See the city of Ohrid and its surrounding beauties from aboard our sailboat cruiser. On this sailing tour you will have the chance to discover more about the Ohrid lake and region. Two-hour (2h) sailing from the port of Ohrid to Kaneo, Gorica, Cuba Libre Beach and back to the port. Includes 2 glasses of wine and 1 bottle of water 0.5L per person, light snacks.
• 15.00-17.00: Launch in center of the city of Ohrid in a special restaurant with traditional Ohrid food.
• 17.30 – Free time to enjoy the city of Ohrid called the “The Pearl of Balkan”Your accommodation is St. Kliment Winery for the second night

DAY 5

• 10.00-10.30: After the breakfast – check out from St. Kliment Winery Hotel
• 11.00 – Arriving in Monastery Winery
• 11.00-11.30 – Visit and feel the story behind this amazing small winery located in spiritual place in the beautiful nature in hills of Ohrid.
• 11.30-13.30 – Inspiring Flavors – Tasting of 5 different white, rose and red wines with local cheeses and charcuterie platter, water and 2 different traditional brandy.
• 13.30-15.30 – Traditional launch with 3 course dishes.
• 16.00 – 18.30: Get back to Skopje in a meeting point. There is a minimum number of participants needed for the tour to departure. In the unlikely event there are not 4 people booked for this day you will be given different options (booking for a different day, booking for a different tour, or a full refund).
